Baker’s Cookie Balls

I’m not sure what’s wrong with me, but I can’t make desserts from a box. I make all kinds of elaborate stuff, but a box mix blows my mind. I either cook it too much or not enough and it’s just never quite right.

While roaming around Walmart one day I came across these Baker’s No Bake Cookie Ball kite and I figured why not try? The kits were less than $4 each and the only other ingredient I needed to buy was cream cheese which Walmart has two packs for less than $4 as well.

I ended up live streaming my attempt at making these cookie balls on Instagram. I made plenty of mistakes, but honestly they didn’t turn out too bad! The area I mostly struggled with was trying to make them look nice and pretty. For whatever reason I ended up having fork marks on several of them. There were also a few that I ran out of chocolate and therefore didn’t get to cover them.

I had three flavors: white chocolate, chocolate, and s’mores. The white chocolate and chocolate had an Oreo cookie base. The s’mores ones had a graham cracker base. I liked the white chocolate ones the most; they had the most balance. I think the s’mores ones were second best and then the chocolate ones. The all chocolate cookie balls would be great if you just love chocolate. To me they were way too chocolatey.

These ended up being pretty easy to make though! Maybe because there’s no baking involved I didn’t have the opportunity to mess things up too much.

Have you tried making these? I’d love to know what you think!
